การใช้สมุดจดคำศัพท์เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถทางด้านคำศัพท์ ความคงทนในการจดจำคำศัพท์ ความสามารถทางด้านการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3

| dc.description | The purposes of this study were to investigate vocabulary ability, to explore Vocabulary retention, and to examine English reading ability of Prathom Suksa 3 students after using vocabulary notebook. The populations were 29 students who were in Prathom Suksa 3 at Choomchon bansankampang, Hangchat District, Lampang Province. The instruments used to collect data in this study were 1) three lesson plans based on using vocabulary notebook 2) English vocabulary test, 3) English vocabulary retention test, and 4) reading ability test. All of the tests are multiple choices. This research was experimental research, aiming at employing vocabulary notebook to enhance students’ vocabulary ability. The students were given English vocabulary test before and after teaching in each unit. At the end of the study for fourteen days, they were again given English vocabulary retention test and reading test after teaching each unit. The data were analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test. The findings revealed that the students’ English vocabulary ability after using the vocabulary notebook was significantly higher than before using the vocabulary notebook at 0.01 level. The students’ retention of English vocabulary after using vocabulary notebook was higher than 50 percent, and the students’ English reading ability after using the vocabulary notebook was higher than 50 percent. | |
| dc.description.abstract | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาความสามารถด้านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ ความคงทนในการจดจำคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ และความสามารถด้านการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษในระดับประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 โดยใช้สมุดจดคำศัพท์ ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 จำนวน 29 คน โรงเรียนชุมชนบ้านสันกำแพง อำเภอห้างฉัตร จังหวัดลำปาง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ จำนวน 3 2) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถด้านคำศัพท์ 3) แบบทดสอบวัดความคงทนในการจดจำคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ และ 4) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถด้านการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงทดลอง นักเรียนได้รับการทดสอบความสามารถด้านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษก่อนเรียน และหลังเรียน ทดสอบความคงทนในการจดจำคำศัพท์หลังสิ้นสุดการสอนทั้งหมด โดยทิ้งระยะเวลา 14 วัน และทดสอบความสามารถด้านการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ หลังสิ้นสุดการเรียนการสอนในแต่ละหน่วยสถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ร้อยละค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ t-test ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความสามารถด้านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนหลังจากได้รับการสอน โดยใช้สมุดจดคำศัพท์หลังเรียนแตกต่างจากความสามารถด้านคำศัพท์ก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ ระดับ 0.01, นักเรียนที่ได้รับการสอนโดยใช้สมุดจดคำศัพท์มีความคงทนในการจดจำคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ โดยมีคะแนนสูงกว่าร้อยละ 50 ของคะแนนเต็ม และความสามารถด้านการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนที่ได้รับการสอนโดยใช้สมุดจดคำศัพท์มีคะแนนสูงกว่าร้อยละ 50 ของคะแนนเต็ม | |
