| dc.description | The objectives of this research study to study relationships and factors predicting condom use behavior of male homosexuals in a province in the northern region such as age, education level Knowledge about AIDS and condom use Ease of access to condoms Attitude towards using condoms Influence from sexual partners and the perceived self-efficacy of using condoms of MSM. one province in the north. This research is a cross-sectional analytical study. (Cross-sectional Analytical Study) The researcher calculated the sample size by using the Thorndike’s Formula. The sample size was 120 samples. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Statistical data was analyzed by using a Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient and a stepwise multiple regression analysis based on the study of condom use behavior of male homosexuals. Men are at a safe level (x̄ = 4.39, SD = 0.43) Factors related to condom use behavior of MSM. Knowledge about AIDS and condom use Ease of access to condoms Influence from a sexual partner on condom use Attitude towards using condoms And the perception of one's own ability to use condoms With statistical significance at the level of p < 0.05 (r = 0.185, r = 0.354, r = 0.676, r = 0.701, r = 0.520, r = 0.556), respectively, and influencing factors from Partnership with condom use (β = 0.482, p < 0.05) Attitude factors towards condom use (β = 0.382, p < 0.05) Factors related to convenience of accessing protective devices (β = 0.255, p < 0.05) and educational factors (β = -0.188, p < 0.05) can explain the variability of condom use behaviors of MSM groups in province And can produce 6.8% linear regression equation using raw scores as follows: Y = -0.207 + 0.362X1 + 0.549X2 + 0.256X3 - 0.092X48 | |
| dc.description.abstract | การศึกษาวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ และปัจจัยทำนายพฤติกรรมการใช้ถุงยางอนามัยของกลุ่มชายรักชายจังหวัดหนึ่งในภาคเหนือ ได้แก่ อายุ ระดับการศึกษา ความรู้เรื่องโรคเอดส์และการใช้ถุงยางอนามัย ความสะดวกในการเข้าถึงถุงยางอนามัย ทัศนคติต่อการใช้ถุงยางอนามัย อิทธิพลจากคู่นอน และการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเองในการใช้ถุงยางอนามัยของกลุ่มชายรักชาย จังหวัดหนึ่งในภาคเหนือ โดยนำแนวคิดข้อมูล แรงจูงใจและทักษะพฤติกรรม (Information-Motivation Behavioral Skill [IMB] model) ของฟิชเชอร์และฟิชเชอร์ มาประยุกต์ใช้ในการศึกษา การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงวิเคราะห์แบบตัดขวาง (Cross-sectional Analytical Study) ผู้วิจัยได้คำนวณขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่าง (Sample size) โดยใช้สูตรของธอร์นไดค์ (Thorndike’s Formula) ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 120 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้เป็นแบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทางสถิติด้วยโปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปโดยใช้ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน (Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient) และการถดถอยพหุคูณแบบขั้นตอน (Stepwise multiple regression analysis) จากการศึกษาพฤติกรรมการใช้ถุงยางอนามัยของกลุ่มชายรักชายอยู่ในระดับปลอดภัย (x̄ = 4.39, S.D. = 0.43) ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อพฤติกรรมการใช้ถุงยางอนามัยของกลุ่มชายรักชายอายุ ความรู้เรื่องโรคเอดส์และการใช้ถุงยางอนามัย ความสะดวกในการเข้าถึงถุงยางอนามัย อิทธิพลจากคู่นอนต่อการใช้ถุงยางอนามัย ทัศนคติต่อการใช้ถุงยางอนามัย และการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเองในการใช้ถุงยางอนามัย อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ p < 0.05 (r = 0.185, r = 0.354, r = 0.676, r = 0.701, r = 0.520, r = 0.556) ตามลำดับ และปัจจัยด้านอิทธิพลจากคู่นอนต่อการใช้ถุงยางอนามัย (β = 0.482, p < 0.05) ปัจจัยด้านทัศนคติต่อการใช้ถุงยางอนามัย (β = 0.382, p < 0.05) ปัจจัยด้านความสะดวกในการเข้าถึงอุปกรณ์ป้องกัน (β = 0.255, p < 0.05) และปัจจัยด้านระดับการศึกษา (β = -0.188, p < 0.05) สามารถร่วมอธิบายความแปรปรวนของพฤติกรรมการใช้ถุงยางอนามัยของกลุ่มชายรักชายจังหวัดหนึ่งในภาคเหนือ ได้ร้อยละ 6.8 และสามารถสร้างสมการการถดถอยพหุเชิงเส้นโดยใช้คะแนนดิบได้ ดังนี้ Y = -0.207 + 0.362X1 + 0.549X2 + 0.256X3 - 0.092X4 | |
